Hockey Head Coach - great pay, choose your schedule and locations
Would you like to be a paid hockey head coach in a local, established hockey development business, where you get to choose the schedule, location and other important aspects of the program?
Apollo Hockey Development began in 2016 with one main goal in mind; Bring quality hockey development program to areas so families can stay local to play and grow the game. Our hashtags of #playlocal and #growlocal have as much to do with the players as it does with our goal of helping the communities we serve. To date we have run almost 100 camps/clinics and leagues in 12 different areas in western Nova Scotia and in Cape Breton, 12 months of the year.
We are hiring up to 4 part-time head coach positions to enable us to better serve our communities. Reporting to the president the successful candidate(s) will have autonomy to develop curriculum which they feel will benefit the players on the ice. The head coach will choose locations/arenas and schedules which is convenient for their own coaching skills and their lifestyle. Apollo Hockey Development is looking to have leaders in the following areas: GOALTENDING PROGRAMS / SHOOTING AND SCORING PROGRAMS / DEFENCE PROGRAMS/ FEMALE-ONLY PROGRAMS / BATTLE AND CHECKING PROGRAMS / POWER SKATING PROGRAMS. If you have a passion for coaching and teaching in one or more of these areas we encourage you to apply for a head coach position.
At this time Apollo Hockey Development runs programs in Nova Scotia, though expansion to other regions is possible in the future. The successful candidate(s) will be required to travel on occasion to attend and lead the practices and programs they have developed.
